What to wear to be a lamp for halloween?

I want to be a lamp for halloween... like a regular lamp. No desk, no genie, no lava. I want to decorate the lamp shade with like tacky stuff like put fringe of gl beads all around and stuff.... I also want it to be "cute" cuz I am in college and will be going out. So what do I wear? I've thought of wearing like a fringe dress but I can't find anything that is cheap enough for me to actually buy.
