Cud i b preg r is it goina b another heartache again. :(?

hi der, am ttc since october, am 19 and tought it wud happen straight away but its really not that easy, my periods r irregular and wen i say that i mean der either 5weeks r more so i nvr no wen i ovulate so am startin to wonder if i ovulate at all ???? my last period was 44days between them and got it on d 16th of april so am due my period anyday now (thats if am not preg) its gone past 5weeks now so ne1 tink ders a wee chance i cud b preg.. am so tired of tryin i just want a baby so bad so me and my finance can start r own family...... plz cheer me up
