Are predatory animals SUPPOSED TO FEAR HUMANS?

im just curious as to where this exactly came from. how are animals like tigers, lions, and crocodiles exactly supposed to fear humans? where did this come from exactly? so does that mean a crocodile is supposed to give a human a free p if it sees a human swimming by him in the water? these are PREDATORY ANIMALS PUT ON EARTH TO EAT AND KILL THINGS. why are these animals supposed to fear humans exactly?
