What do the hair lengths for Gatsby mean?

I know that there's extremely short, short, medium short, and medium long, but what's the range for each of them. My hair is about 12 inches from the roots, about to my shoulders. I don't know if my hair is medium short or medium long. I'm guessing medium long, but I'm not sure. Please help.
