You really should just go and ask her out sometime. The most she will say is no or she just wants to be friends then you can just move on to another girl. Trust me man it really isn't that hard and remember even if she isn't interested there are hundreds of more cute girls for you to ask out. The more dates you have the better your chances of finding the right one. So just go for it and don't worry if she looks at someone else for all you know she could have been listening to that kid just because she wanted to know the answer. You shouldn't hesitate and just ask her you have nothing to lose!
