Would it be considered gay if a guy got a tattoo on his lower back?

i wanna use the big flat area on my lower back to get a tattoo of a Toyota Trueno AE86 with "Hachi-Roku" labeled near it. my friend is criticizing the area of placement and stating it would be a 'tramp-stamp' and would be 'gay'. i personally think that place is a perfect spot to do something like this.
