Does this Rob O'Connor of the yahoo music blogs have any musical background?

I was just wondering if this guy has any musical background b/c I was just reading some of his lists and he's way off on a lot of stuff mainly b/c I think it's more of his opinion and little research. Like a list of the 25 greatest artist with 25 yrs. experience. As a lot of posts put it where is- Michael Jackson, Madonna, Elton John, John Lennon, among others. And the comments he had in the paragraphs beside them some was off the wall. Just curious if these so called bloggers that are yahoo's headliners have any musical education or are they just ppl like you and I throwing their observations out there for others to comment on. ?????????
