Big Fart in Walmart, guys laughed at me!?

Hey guys, i just moved to vancouver from los angeles and i let out a ginat fart today in a walmart store, i was in an aisle, and these two guys wearing canucks shirts started to laugh and said to me, its cool man. are canadians freindlier then americans are towards farting?
